Slight arm-side run, slower than 4FB

Cutter

Similar to a 4FB but moves glove-side

Sinker

Drops and moves arm-side, induces ground balls

Fastball Running*

More arm-side movement than a 2FB

Breaking Balls

High movement, lower speed

Curveball

Sharp downward break

12-6 Curve

Steep, vertical drop

Sweeping Curve

Big horizontal break with some drop

Knuckle-curve

Faster than a CB, sharp drop

Slurve

Hybrid of a slider and curveball, wide break

Changeups

Off-speed deception

Changeup

Slower than a FB with some drop

Circle Change

More arm-side fade than a CH

Vulcan Change

Similar to CH but drops harder

Splitter

Faster than a CH but dives late
